Hayling Billy: Talk and Walk (Code HB) Sorry Event Full

The Hayling Billy Trail is a beautiful place to walk and full of interest.

We will start the day with Coffee and Biscuits in the Station Theatre followed by an illustrated talk by Peter Drury, a partner in the Hayling Billy Heritage Project and extremely knowledgeable on the history of the railway line and the surrounding areas and the compiler of the excellent website www.haylingbillyheritage.org. He will then guide us along the trail which is approximately 3 kms. long, stopping to talk about particular points of interest.

Much of the trail is alongside Langstone Harbour and representatives of the RSPB, Hampshire County Council and the Hayling Conservation Group will also join us at the Nature Reserve and Oyster Beds.

We have arranged transport to return us to the Station Theatre where a light lunch will be served before Peter answers any questions you may have.
