Waste Water Treatment. Date change. Code V4. This Event is fully booked

Please note date change from the 3rd September to 5th September. If you are booked in and haven’t had contact with Jennie, please do ASAP

Back by popular demand, this is the last of the originally booked four visits planned in 2019. We meet at the treatment plant and are shown around by several very knowledgeable members of the team who operate the works that serve a population of 45,000, protecting and enhancing water quality in the River Lavant and Chichester Harbour. This is a “must see” for anybody who cares about water quality in the harbour. Lunch overlooking the water at the Crown and Anchor in Dell Quay follows with a choice of items from the pub’s regular menu. Please note this visit involves the climbing and walking on open grid stairs and walkways. Lunch is part of the visit and cannot be excluded.
Meet at 10:00 at Southern Water Services Ltd, Sewage Treatment Works, Appledram Lane South, Chichester, PO20 7PE.
Cost £15 Members, £25 Guests.
Group size: Maximum 12 persons.
